Anosh Ahmed’s Foundation Spreads Gratitude and Togetherness in Al Quoz

Anosh Ahmed

Every Thursday in Al Quoz has its own rhythm, a mix of hard work, midday heat, and quiet gratitude. On November 13, 2025, that rhythm once again turned into a moment of kindness as the Anosh Foundation, led by Anosh Ahmed, carried out its 12th consecutive week of food distribution for Dubai’s labor community.

As in previous weeks, the foundation’s volunteers gathered at midday to distribute 300 freshly prepared meal boxes, each packed with biryani, laban, dates, fruit, and bottled water. But this week’s event carried something special, a deeper sense of appreciation shared not just by those receiving the meals, but also by those giving them.

“It’s beautiful,” said one volunteer. “You come here thinking you’re helping others, but every week, it feels like they’re the ones teaching us gratitude.”

The Power of Familiar Faces

After 12 weeks of consistent presence, the workers in Al Quoz no longer see the foundation’s volunteers as strangers, they see them as friends. Laughter and greetings fill the air as familiar faces meet again, bridging differences through small conversations and mutual respect.

One worker expressed, “We wait for them every week. It’s not just the food, it’s how they talk to us, how they remember us. It feels like family.”

Moments like these have turned the food drive into something much greater than a meal program, it’s a weekly reunion of shared humanity.

Gratitude That Flows Both Ways

For Anosh Ahmed, this growing connection is what makes the initiative truly meaningful.

“Gratitude has no direction, it flows both ways,” he said. “When we give with sincerity, we receive joy in return. These weekly drives remind us that compassion isn’t a one-sided act, it’s an exchange of kindness between people.”

Each meal distributed reflects not just generosity, but appreciation, appreciation for the workers who build the city, and for the volunteers who dedicate their time to serve them. Over time, this cycle of giving and gratitude has built a foundation of trust and respect that continues to strengthen with every passing week.

12 Weeks of Compassion and Connection

The Anosh Foundation’s food distribution initiative in Al Quoz has now become a cornerstone of its humanitarian efforts in Dubai. Through 12 continuous weeks of service, the foundation has provided thousands of meals, creating meaningful change through steady, compassionate action.

While the number of meals remains at 300 each week, the impact continues to multiply, not just in food served, but in friendships formed and hearts uplifted.

“Consistency is what turns a kind act into a movement,” said a team member. “Every Thursday, we’re reminded that kindness grows stronger when it’s shared repeatedly.”

Beyond Meals, A Culture of Care

The foundation’s work in Al Quoz reflects a broader mission led by Anosh Ahmed, to build communities rooted in care, dignity, and empathy. From Dubai to Pakistan and the United States, the Anosh Foundation continues to focus on food security, healthcare, and education, guided by the principle that sustained compassion has the power to heal and unite.

As the sun set on the 12th week of distribution, volunteers and workers exchanged smiles that said more than words ever could, proof that gratitude, once shared, multiplies endlessly.
