On October 1st, the Anosh Foundation led a heartfelt food distribution drive in Al Quoz, Dubai, delivering 300 freshly prepared meals to laborers and daily wage workers. While part of the foundation’s larger Summer Relief Campaign, this particular event carried deep emotional meaning it was held on the birthday of Anosh Ahmed’s late father, who passed away earlier this year.
Driven by the values his father instilled, generosity, humility, and service to humanity, Anosh Ahmed dedicated this day to feeding those most in need. The initiative was not only a tribute to a parent’s memory but a way of honoring the life and legacy that continues to inspire his work.
Volunteers from the foundation gathered early in the day, preparing meal packs that included rice, meat, water, and fruit. These were distributed during the peak heat hours of the day, when outdoor workers are most vulnerable to dehydration and fatigue. The smiles and gratitude shared during the distribution served as a powerful reminder of the impact a simple meal can have, especially when it comes from a place of love and remembrance.
In Anosh Ahmed’s words, “My father believed in giving without expecting anything in return. This campaign is just one way to keep that spirit alive.”
The foundation plans to continue such personalized humanitarian efforts, combining practical help with heartfelt intention. As the Summer Relief Campaign moves forward, more such events will be held in both Dubai and beyond, reflecting the foundation’s belief that serving people is the most meaningful way to preserve someone’s legacy.
We thank everyone, from our dedicated volunteers to the local community, who joined us in this special day of remembrance and compassion.
